Applying a Lens Definition to an Image

A Lens definition is a collection of information about a lens that was (or will be) used in the viewing and capturing of images. These instructions explain how to apply a lens definition to an image.

Note: These instructions assume the lens definition is already created. For instructions on creating a lens definition, click here.

To apply an existing lens definition to an image:

Open the image to which you want to add the lens definition.

Go to the Capture tab and locate the Optical Characteristics group.

From the Lens pull-down list box, find the lens definition you want to apply, and select it.

Note: The Lens pull-down list box shows only lens definitions from the Lens Library that have been marked as "Favorites". If you don't see the lens definition you are looking for in the Lens pull-down list box, you might be able to find it in the Lens Library, and then mark it as a favorite. Click here for instructions.

Click on the Lens Apply button.
The selected Lens is applied to the active image.
